Chaos before the rain

Typical Monday yesterday starting out the day with my PR internship at Shout Public Relations in Orange County. Managed to squeeze in a few shots of my outfit for the day before running off to work at Fashion Island as a newly-promoted manager at Rebecca Taylor. Crazy and hectic Monday as usual, but I’m getting accustomed and am excited for what’s ahead!

This week, I started a new adventure at Rebecca Taylor at Fashion Island! It was a successful one, I might add. I still feel uncomfortable and awkward, but that’s all a part of change. I think something great will come of this! A little perk of the job is getting an allowance to spend on pretty clothes to wear to work. So here’s a little peak of my favorite outfit thus far compliments of Rebecca Taylor. So excited for what’s to come!

These silk draw-string pants are amazingly comfortable and versatile. Definitely will be wearing these to death! I’ve become obsessed with them. And I’m so excited to have rediscovered the Tiffany & Co. initial necklace my sister got for me for one of my birthdays. Always been one of my favorites and now that I can really only sport dainty little things to work, it’s perfect for the job.

A New Cut

I hadn’t gotten my hair cut since my 21st birthday in February and it definitely was time to freshen up my look!  I had had long, ombre’d hair for quite some time and it seems that every time I go for a haircut, it gets shorter and shorter.

People always ask who does my hair and here it is: Ashley Rydbeck at Cristophe Salon in Newport Beach. She’s the only person who has colored my hair and will be the only person to ever do so.  Not only do I come out of the salon with pretty hair, but I got to hang out with one of my best friends who I’ve known since 6th grade.

This time we went for a shorter (I feel like by accident) and more natural ombre.  My ombre is usually much more drastic, but she went with the balayage technique this time and I like it!  It is pretty short compared to what I’m used to, but why not take a risk!

Here’s my new look that I styled straight for the day.  I kept my outfit plain and simple and brightened it all up with a red lip.
